Hi, I’m Laura, and I run my small gardening business Flaura from my home (and your garden) in Rochester, Kent. Before this I worked for the NHS for almost eight years, but in order to find that all-important balance between my work, my young family and having some time to myself, I found myself spending more and more time outdoors. I indulged my love for plants, collecting knowledge and curating my gardening skills along the way. I patiently watched my garden grow, change and develop over time, and I realised I wanted to bring the joy of the outdoors to other people’s homes too. I decided it was time for a big change myself, and Flaura was created. I then went on to become RHS accredited in 2025.

Anybody who knows me knows I love a project, and I’d love to be able to share my skills with you, whether that’s by maintaining an established garden, facilitating a big garden overhaul, creating beautiful borders for a new build property, brightening up a small outdoor space or creating some kerb appeal out the front.
